I was elected to the Board of Directors of the Dalhousie Women’s Centre (DWC) earlier this month, and as of tonight, I am the DWC representative to the Dalhousie University Women’s Community and also Chair of the Human Relations Committee. Although working with the DWC will enrich my curriculum vitae, it will also give me the opportunity to engage in some delicious committee work and to foster some scrumptious progressive action. Yes, I am indeed a geek, enjoying activities such as research and committee meetings. I am looking forward to this fiscal year!
